yoga

fitness

Yoga is my primary weekly fitness outlet to stay healthy and strong. The combination of balance, power, and flexibility have trained my body to be properly prepared for stunts, running, and agility sequences on screen and off.

mindset

When you work in an unpredictable industry like entertainment, a deep, consistent practice of patience, respect, and self-love comes in handy. Yoga is my way of staying grounded and continually learning how to be a better team player in the business.

wellness

It’s easy to burn ourselves out as working actors. The practice of yoga has taught me to breathe more, focus on what I can control, and organize my week around balance and wellness. This has made me a happier actor who can handle pressure on set with ease.

Growing up, I was a dancer. My after-school days were spent training in ballet, jazz, modern, latin dance, and musical theatre. While my physical body benefitted from this work, my spirit was still lacking. Long after my competitive dance days were over, I began practicing yoga in college as a way to relieve stress and connect to my intuition.

This began a lifelong journey in yoga. I primarily practice heated Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Kundalini techniques with an emphasis on fitness and mindset. My dance background has allowed me the extreme flexibility to practice advanced poses and extended balancing holds.

I love to merge my love of yoga with my love of acting. Even if my character isn’t a yogi, you’ll find me practicing in my trailer, or leaning on my knowledge of alignment, balance, and power when performing stunt sequences.
