stunts

experience

Building on her background in competitive dance and yoga, Alison began growing her stunt experience in the summer of 2019. She trained with Detective Jared Fisher, a Field Training Officer and current SWAT Team and Intelligence/Gang Unit member in basic tactical and safety training. She trains weekly in Tae Kwon Do technique with black-belt Michael Rub to stay fresh in hand-to-hand combat, falls, and rolls.

Fall 2019 introduced new on-set stunt experiences in The Collected 3. Where Alison was involved in several scenes with weapons, falls, and auto stunts.

The pandemic didn’t stop stunt training…in January 2021, Alison and team self-produced a hand-to-hand combat stunt sequence, reminiscent of TV shows such as Alias and Quantico.

Wire Work & Blades

I’m constantly seeking to learn and experience new aspects of the stunt world - while I might not be an expert, I hope to broaden my horizons in wire work, blades, and staffs to create a solid foundation to support future film and TV roles.

quarantine stunts

During the quarantined spring of 2020, my real-life partner and I choreographed, performed, and shot, a short stunt film in their home. With only one (untrained) crew member to assist, it was a challenge they were eager to tackle (literally). Snack Smackdown playfully takes the love of quarantine snacks to a new level, with a battle from the patio through the living room, to the kitchen to obtain the last pint of ice cream.

behind the scenes

Here’s a sneak peek into one of our training sessions, working on the “Superhero” fall stance, into a front kick. Not every practice is perfect, but we keep going until we get it right.
